Pensioners and Retirees Need Medical Insurance Cover!

It is understood that the Pensioners and Retirees that are mainly in PASI have No Medical Insurance Cover. The Writer stands corrected if it is otherwise!

I think it was Pervez Musharraf ex Pakistan President who had said that peoples need more on food, housing and shelter more than anything else compared to high rise buildings big projects and infrastructure etc.

It is well established that these Pensioners and Retirees have been loyal dedicated contributors to the Nation building and Renaissance as to what it is today! There is a famous saying that in a house where the Elder is respected and treated well, then there will come blessings to that house! It is also well established that the Pensioners and Retirees pre 2014 are suffering now to make ends meet – as there have been articles by others also on the very same pertinent point!

With a few exceptions like PDO, Defence etc. where Pensioners and Retirees can still get full Medical attention – but that too there are some few differences in some of the places in comparison to the still working Regular Staff! But even here it is being understood and that in some places are limited only to the Staff – and not his family!

It is true that like places in PDO, they have gone a long way of taking care of The Pensioners and Retirees by giving them equal facilities, services and treatment in The Company Hospitals – and can be referred to outside hospitals for Specialist Diagnosis and Treatment – but this is an exception to the rule – where many other Retirees and Pensioners are not so lucky! The PDO Pensioners and Retirees have to be grateful with the services being provided – with weekly Consultants in different areas of medicine and fields visiting the main Company Hospital in Mina Al Fahal.

The truth is that in the same instance in a few years down the line and in the other places where these things are not there, the same staff will face the same situation and circumstances – poetic it be for those now managing, monitoring and administering the policies and procedures!

People cannot afford The Private Hospitals with hidden costs in diagnosis and even in treatment – and going abroad is even costlier and expensive – and only few people can afford to do so!

With also now the stricter processes of admission in Emergency sections in Public Hospitals – and longer queues that can be seen and for follow-ups in Operation Departments – and those who are the sicker lots are even more at disadvantaged and suffering even more!

Sometimes people prefer to suffer in agony and silence at home than to try admission in Public Hospitals – even in the Emergency wards!

Even in the regular check-ups and follow ups in the Public Hospitals can now stretch anything from 3 to 6 months – sometimes even longer due to the congestion of patients vis-à-vis available services to provide! Even the Medical Staff are stretched by overloads of work and the numbers of patients to attend to and in provision of services required!

It is also well established that the older generations of over 50s are also growing up equally fast in comparison to the other generations – with many younger generations still looking for jobs and to get married and to settle down – with exorbitant costs in dowries and marriage celebrations that can even stretch to OMR 20, 000 in some few cases! Which is a heavy load to the average working youth – who prefers to wait longer before getting to even think of getting married!

Far Eastern countries like Malaysia and Japan treat their Elders with respect and in best provision of services – in even offering them jobs like Advisors Consultants Mentors etc. – or in part time jobs or working from home! All these are not available to the home Pensioners and Retirees with very few exceptions!

Most of the Elders Pensioners and Retirees can still contribute to the Nation – if the opportunities and chances are given to them! With these extra money in their pockets they can serve themselves better including their families too!

It is also well established that if today there were Elders Old Homes Take Care Centres, a considerable number of The Retirees and Pensioners will be dropped in these places by their children! Many of The Pensioners and Retirees stat alone – with only few exceptions that you will find accommodated at their children homes!

There are even some rumours of same old aged Pensioners and Retirees being mistreated by their children who see the grandparents – or even parents – as a burden that stops them from enjoying life and freedom – or perhaps the nagging part and the constant need of attention emanating from The Retirees and Pensioners!

There have been many cases of the Retirees and Pensioners of not being able to get money and support from their children – perhaps because they have put their lives to higher costs and expenditures beyond their means! There have been articles written before on this particular dilemma facing The Young Workers now – with some with very good salaries and benefits – but end by mid-month with no cash for even basic needs and requirements!

It is well understood that in the current economic situation it maybe difficult – or I would say harder to do – but the point needs to be said as in my introduction of the loyalties commitment dedication services etc. given by The Pensioners and Retirees – and it is high time that their lots and conditions are looked into – especially in seeing they are treated as Pensioners Retirees Post 2014 – and in provision of some Medical Insurance for The Retirees and The Pensioners for those not able to get Medical attention and care!

Asalaam Aleikum

When I wrote that article and sent to you I was not considering myself only but all Omanis Retirees and Pensioners facing the same problems.

I went this Sunday to Royal Hospital Acute Medicine Internal Medicine and for normal Medical Procedures I was given dates from February 2020 to July 2020 things like Ultra Sound Kidneys.

PDO Clinic do not have these kind of Medical Procedures.

Yesterday I was referred to a Commercial Medical Centre in Ghobra and they are focussing more on getting extra monies as I said too in my article.

This leaves The Omani Retiree and Pensioner at great disadvantage and misfortune.

At least in PDO we can get some slight advantage but still we are far behind in comparison to Regular still working Staff covered by Insurance .. but not us!

A few years from now when those policing these policies will find themselves The Truth of what we are now as Retirees and Pensioners are going through.

You and I have responsibility infront of Allah SWT and Our Islamic Religion to highlight these issues.

I did my part as in Level 2 of Imaan to talk and say about the issues facing us as Pensioners and Retirees vis a vis Medical and Care issues.

I was not looking for money nor popularity or fame to highlight these issues facing us Omanis now after we served dutifully sincerely and loyally our Beloved Nation.

His Majesty has always encouraged us Omanis to come forward and say what we need or feel .. his speeches are very clear in this one.

You know your role and responsibility in highlighting these issues.

Anyway, I did my part and in front of Allah I am not afraid to say I did try to say on the sufferings and pains being undergone by Pensioners and Retirees in Oman now in general terms with very few exceptions and limitations

Why do they call you ‘Magic’?

When I was studying in UK in the 1970s, there were some British girls in my class! They found it strange that I was not following them like the other foreign students in my class! It had nothing to do with British girls or not, but I was always a Loner and keeping to myself alone!

You can feel hungry always, and look at the Menu! But ordering the food can be something quite different! You can also see smell the food – but partaking it can be quite something different! Excuse the pun – and the rhetoric here!

Anyway, the braver of the girls (and the more forward! Sic!) asked me lots of curious strange questions – like how many oil wells your family owned? Or how many wives your father had? And even the brazen one – how many wives you had? As if I was already married for that matter! But the more smarter ones for sure were those who noticed I did not wear any rings – and probably, therefore, a good catch!

There were some for sure who thought I was weird – and something fishy and weird for that matter! Thank God that some dared not ask me what was in their minds – because I would not have known what answer to give – or how I would have reacted to such probing intrusive personal questions!

So the conversation and questioning went on something like this!

Let us call her Amanda – actually there was a girl by that name – and she was really pretty tall and all the ‘catching stuff’ per se!

Amanda – Hi! What is your name?
Me (sigh) – Majid!
Amanda – What???
Me – Majid – Spell – M A J I D!
Amanda – What??? Oh! What does the name mean?
Me – It means Glory in English!
Amanda – Oh! So you are Glory? You do not look like one! Sorry!
Me – (Quiet) – I was about to give a crude reply like – call me whatever name you like stuff! Sort of think! Sic!
Amanda – You know what? Cannot comprehend that name! Difficult! What else can we call you?
Me – (Quiet!)
Amanda – now joined with the other girls! You know what? We shall just call you Magic!

Magic it had always remained – till the last day of the College!

Now you know why I ended as Magic! Magic it has always been – at lease nearer to Majid than any other English word to my name!

B           My paternal grandmother – Seyyida Saluma bin Ahmed Al Wadhahiya!

I always used to ask my late Father Sheikh Said – PBUH Allah Rahmah – how he felt when his Mother – my paternal grandmother – was married to someone else after asking for her divorce – when my Grandfather Sheikh Nasser Zahor Al Suleimany – Manah – Nizwa – PNUH Allah Rahmah – went to Africa from Oman – staying there for too long whilst he married other women – leaving grandmother alone for a long time!

The great lady got only one other son – my Ami Uncle Sheikh Ahmed Salim Al Wadhahy (still living!)
So I used to ask my Later Father Allah Rahmah – when he was alive – how do you feel about your only brother – Mother side?

He looks at me weirdly – but avoids telling me what is really in his mind – till one day in his better moods tells me – I do not blame my Mother – but more my Mother!

Kama miaka mingi iliopita nilipofanyiwa Operation Royal Hospital hapa Muscat Oman – sijuwi kwa ajili ya Operation au kwa ajili ya huzuni na matokeo baada ya operation – nilikuwa juu ya kitanda nalia sana kwa kikukuwi!

Huyu Daktari N wa KiOmani wa Kikee akaniuuliza – Baba unaliya kwa ajili ya nini? Wewe ni mtu mzima na haifai kulia hivi – unafanya uchura haifai! Nini kimetokeya? Na khasa jana tu umefanyiwa operation kubwa nah ii kulia itakuleteya aathiir na matokezi sio mazuri badala yake!

Most of us have do nicknames – some of us know what others call us straight into our faces – or in some cases – behind our backs!

I have been nicknamed as Magic or Magic Man – but that is a different story for now – with the exception that it was first the English girls whilst studying in UK in the 1970s could not pronounce my first name as Majid! They resorted to the easier name to remember as Magic – and eventually developed into Magic Man etc.

It took a twisted turn later why I was so called – but that too is a different story for now!

It is also a pseudonym and pen name that I had used when in The Old Frustration Days I used it in The Public Forums! But with what I wrote – soon people recognised who I was really!
Few people also know that I was called Pangaas by my Baluchi Speaking Compatriots and Peers! The word should not be confused with the Swahili version – which means Big Knife! It is the Baluchis peers who called me this – not The Swahili Speaking ones!

Anyway, as far as I understand it still – Pangaas was a reference to The Pufferfish! See about the fish below!
Why did they call me this? Simple – as they said! Apart from the fish can turn cyanide and venomous when being attacked by predators – including men – but the real reason was the fish would blow up into a balloon shaped fish at the slightest touch provocation!

They told me – That is you Majid! I do not know if they are right or not – but the name stuck to this very day!

I know many people think I am very sensitive – and that even includes my family too! My British Boss used to tell me – you need thick skin (ears) to work in this place – but you Majid are very Soft Centred – and it is easy for people to annoy and upset you – for what many people would consider minor trifles – best to ignore! It also comes from your desire for always a win-win situation!

Anyway, thought I shall just pass this across – for now!

ABOUT PUFFERFISH

Biologists think pufferfish, also known as blowfish, developed their famous “inflatability” because their slow, somewhat clumsy swimming style makes them vulnerable to predators. In lieu of escape, pufferfish use their highly elastic stomachs and the ability to quickly ingest huge amounts of water (and even air when necessary) to turn themselves into a virtually inedible ball several times their normal size. Some species also have spines on their skin to make them even less palatable.
Toxicity

A predator that manages to snag a puffer before it inflates won’t feel lucky for long. Almost all pufferfish contain tetrodotoxin, a substance that makes them foul tasting and often lethal to fish. To humans, tetrodotoxin is deadly, up to 1,200 times more poisonous than cyanide. There is enough toxin in one pufferfish to kill 30 adult humans, and there is no known antidote.

As Food

Amazingly, the meat of some pufferfish is considered a delicacy. Called fugu in Japan, it is extremely expensive and only prepared by trained, licensed chefs who know that one bad cut means almost certain death for a customer. In fact, many such deaths occur annually.

Population

There are more than 120 species of pufferfish worldwide. Most are found in tropical and subtropical ocean waters, but some species live in brackish and even fresh water. They have long, tapered bodies with bulbous heads. Some wear wild markings and colors to advertise their toxicity, while others have more muted or cryptic coloring to blend in with their environment.

They range in size from the 1-inch-long dwarf or pygmy puffer to the freshwater giant puffer, which can grow to more than 2 feet in length. They are scaleless fish and usually have rough to spiky skin. All have four teeth that are fused together into a beak-like form.

Diet

The diet of the pufferfish includes mostly invertebrates and algae. Large specimens will even crack open and eat clams, mussels, and shellfish with their hard beaks. Poisonous puffers are believed to synthesize their deadly toxin from the bacteria in the animals they eat.

Threats to Survival

Some species of pufferfish are considered vulnerable due to pollution, habitat loss, and overfishing, but most populations are considered stable.

My Facebook Friend! (He was very active! Always encouraging and supportive!)

Introduction

I was arguing with Big Madam of The House (BMTH) that I have to force myself to go to the funeral in Al Hail Seeb Masjid Bilaal today August 15, 2017 at 10 a.m. of my friend and brother Sheikh Salim Mohamed Al Mauly (Maawali)! She told me rather forcefully – Do not blame anyone else but yourself if you will again fall down – and then cause panic to others to send you to the Hospital!

I have never gone to funerals since the last time that this had happened to me 18 months back! Besides, I do not feel that comfortable to now drive alone – and even if I did – I do not have my Yukon GMC anymore as being taken by the said Court!

You have acute walking difficulties and breathing problems (short breath) on top of being diabetic acute case and in addition to prostate issues – despite the operation made last year! So I stood for sanity and reasons and let my head rule my heart’s emotions for a change!

What I Had Said!

In all my writings and books I have said the same things – that this world is only a temporary phase in our lives – in the end we will all just die! People will only remember you by your good deeds and the way that you interfaced and interacted with each other!

If you were a good person or not are your actions and deeds for others – and your good behaviours and deeds only! People will either feel sorry that you are gone and pray for you – or be indifferent at best – if not cursing you instead and praying for Eternal Hell Fire for you from the moment that you are dropped into your grave – and The Eternal Hell Fire from there on to The Day of Reckoning (Judgement)!

You will go empty handed as you came into the world – and you will not be able to take anything with you! All your richness and properties you will just leave behind! All the pursuits we have in life for richness and luxuries will end the minute you die! What is left are what good deeds only that you have made in life! All those things you have appropriated taken from others by your ways and threats will be The Hell Fire for you in front of Allah SWT Our Lord God The Al Mighty!

The East Africans continuously say  – Where there is Dhuloom (Injustices) Allah Removes all Blessings Barkah Rahmah and Taqwa – especially in taking by force from a person who has nothing left in life – but even that car you are still paying installments for is snatched from you to pay a Bank instead who have money already! And all Those Big People VIPs and Associated you begged and appealed for Help and Assistance – The Chairmans – The MDs – The GMs – The HEs – The HHs The Directors The Leadership looked the other way not caring or bothered the least!

Panapo Dhulmah Daamu Ina Mwagiika – Where there is Injustices Dhuloom blood eventually flows in Swahili – and proved correct so many times in life! The Reality Bites!

It was 11.30 pm August 14^th 2017 Monday that I got this SMS from a very good friend and brother from ex PDO – Brother Ali Al Mandhry – on the death of Sheikh Salim Al Mauly!

With great sorrow I would like to inform you that our elder brother Sh. Salim Mohamed Mauly, Ex PDO Head of Public Health, the brother of Yahya Mauly has passed away. May Allah rest his soul in Janat Firdaus.

The funeral will be tomorrow morning Tuesday, 15/8/2017 at 10.00’am at Masjid Bilal, Al Hail North (Shamaliya).

Sheikh Salim and I were the best of friends! He was like an Elder Brother to me respected and adhered by us all in PDO and those who knew him! His words were gentle cautionary and advisory – and would best avoid saying anything confronting bad or adverse about anyone – even if he was alone in the crowd and refusing to criticize and condemn anyone! In actual fact he would try to bring outside the norm or character of something or someone that perhaps we forgot to have a look at – or we needed to look at!

Gentle and unassuming – quiet and respectful – especially to his Staff and Subordinates! He would even try to bend the rules and regulations in helping someone! Especially in need and in trouble! He avoided like hell differentials and polarisation of people – and sometimes even name and shame those of us in HR who should have known better!

At one time I was in a group of people where with my big mouth I was criticising him a certain individual as is The Person who caused The Bloody Zanzibar Revolution. After the group end thing he would sidle to me and politely correct my mistaken knowledge and theories – in actual fact gently reminding me that there was one person there ‘who was the Direct Relative’ of the person I was attacking – and gently remind me that the person had respected me and had remained so quiet instead of personal attacks in defence of his relative as he did to others! The man respects you – so please respect him also instead! That was Sheikh Salim for you!

A typical case that best describes Sheikh Salim is this incident in PDO! Those of us in HR had a Duty Rota for a week where we were responsible for Emergencies and Other Issues after Office Hours – 4 pm each day till next starting day at 7am. The Rota was like this. If the Duty Officer was not available then you move to the next week Duty Week Officer. That was to safeguard the system – and in case of Real Big Emergencies more Officers could be called depending on The Emergencies at task!

It was not my Duty that week but I got a call from an Irate Expatriate Wife (British) that by accident she had reversed her car and had hit her puppy dog! I am writing this also so the present Management PDO can compare and contrast how the Ex Retired Pensioners did their works in comparison to the present – no complaints and beyond the Call for Duty! Far and Beyond! Without complaints! Professional, Ethical and Principled always! With no publicity nor advertisements!

She was very angry that The Duty Officer had bluntly told her – he comes from the current stock type of Staff – work like the book thrown at them – I am not responsible for animals – certainly not knocked down dogs! This is not in my Job Description to look after dogs too!  She was enraged mad more that the man was laughing when she had told him – can you hear the dog in pain – as she was talking to him on the phone!

The man was also cursing why the lady had woken him up at 2 am for a Silly Thing like knocking down a dog! By her own carelessness – even if in those days cars still did not have reverse lights cameras! But what she was More Angry about was this Duty Officer suggesting to her to Go Forward and run down to (finish) to kill it off! How could he tell me this? – she yelled!

She was so offended and had made a case about it later to PDO Management – but it put them into a Sensitive Mode because how do you penalize someone Omani who refuses to get involved in ‘Dog Issues’ knowing how Muslims (Arabs) treat dogs – or at least a majority of them!

Meanwhile, the Lady had complained to The Manager on Duty – who suggested to contact me instead as my role was for next week! Wait a minute! It is not about me – but about Sheikh Salim! He told me that even Medical Department PDO did not have a Vet – so the lady had to find someone else outside! She had tried and failed!

Sheikh Salim had volunteered to help anyway and as it was weekend night it was not easy to get someone. Sheikh Salim had found a Vet and took him to the house and sent the poor puppy still yapping into a ‘quiet sleep mode’! Sheikh Salim and I then received an apology from the Crying Now Lady who had labelled all of us (Omanis) ‘You people’ as cruel and heartless people – because of the way she got treated by The Earlier Officer (Omani also!)

That is Sheikh Salim for you! He did not need to find a Vet late at night – nor take the Vet to The Ladies house – and wait till the puppy had peacefully died. I hope The Senior Management of PDO are reading this – to compare and contrast what you had before – and you are having now!

Frankly, I do not have the knowledge of what can be done now in such typical cases – but my guess is probably nothing has changed much! Maybe even The Lady may not call at all – because she knows well in advance what she will get in turn! Dog or No Dog! Injured or Not Injured!

Here is to you Sheikh Salim! Allah Rest your soul in Eternal Peace in this world and The Next Ameen – and May Allah SWT Open The Gates for Firdaus The Highest Heavens for you! You are a person who cared not only for Humanity – but also for a distressed woman even if the issue was not your business – but you cared for even The Suffering Dog also.

Addressing this also to my ex Peers and all others – I ask Forgiveness for The Past and let us look and pray for each other for whatever is left now in our lives! You have taken my Yukon I used only 2 years – and still paying – but leaving that to Allah SWT when we meet together and in My Presentation of My Case to Allah SWT!

And to those that could have helped me but chose not to lift a finger and look the other way – May Allah SWT and His Prophets RIP PBUT be with you – Amin Amen!

Please Help Me Your Majesty! From an Omani Retiree Pensioner!

Please Help Me Your Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said from your Loyal Dedicated Omani Pensioner Retiree Pensioner Majid bin Said bin Nasser Al Sulaimani

        

If anybody can help my situation by letting His Majesty know on the situation of a dedicated loyal Omani Retiree Pensioner asked by The Primary Court & HSBC (ex OIB) Bank to pay what he cannot afford to do even if he wanted to.

I am also a sick Diabetic Person with Eyes Problems and was even in Coma State ICU Royal Hospital. Also suffering from Acute Severe Depression bouts – and being also treated by Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Naamani of SQU!

I have only my Pension Retiree Salary and staying in a very old house now only me and my wife left in the house.

There is simply No Money in books as I have been saying all these years!

I tried to send you my first 5 books but I do not know where they had ended?  So were my two letters – one when my Consultancy had gone Bankrupted in 2001!

I feel my Citizen Basic Rights have been infringed as my vehicle they have refused to renew The Mulkiya and it is just parked outside the house.

My Consultancy MMDC collapsed 2001 and only in 2016 they HSBC Oman raised a case against me and truth be said no one had contacted me before.

I tried PDO to help me but they could not! I tried for more than 3 months – only a few days back they said they could not help me!

His Majesty is a Just Ruler with his path to Heavens assured In Shaa Allah by a Special Gate reserved for him.

May Allah Give him long life and health Amin.

Our Religion has so many Chapters on People being in Debt and the mercy and compassion required to be given to them. Even The Hadith.

I feel we should solve our own problems in house rather than go abroad or International Organisations.

I cannot afford to pay this amount unless I become homeless at this old sick age.

Justice in Islam!

“O My slaves, I have forbidden injustice for Myself and forbade it also for you.  So avoid being unjust to one another.” (Saheeh Muslim)

Thus, justice represents moral rectitude and fairness, since it means things should be where they belong.

 The Importance of Justice!

The Quran, the sacred scripture of Islam, considers justice to be a supreme virtue.

It is a basic objective of Islam to the degree that it stands next in order of priority to belief in God’s exclusive right to worship (Tawheed) and the truth of Muhammad’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prophethood.  God declares in the Quran:

“God commands justice and fair dealing…” (Quran 16:90)

Prophet Muhammad underscored the importance of rulers being just in one of his famous sayings.

 “There are seven categories of people whom Allah will shelter under His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His. (One will be) a just leader.” (Saheeh Muslim)

Be Merciful for Allah SWT to be Merciful to You!

“He who does not show mercy shall see no mercy (from his Lord).”
“Allah is not merciful to him who is not merciful to men.”

Another one of my favourite hadiths because it teaches us to get up and do something:

On the authority of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (May Allah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say,

“Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart — and that is the weakest of faith.” [Muslim]

Book Introduction

After my last book 52 titled All My MAS Books! www.createspace.com/6306051 and the last book on the series Between Us Only! titled Wipe My Tears! www.createspace.com/4304972 – I became very sick and was admitted in Royal Hospital in Oman from November 2015 to January 2016 when I was operated for Prostate Operation – thankfully malign!

I lapsed into a Coma State in ICU – Intensive Care Unit EER – in December 2015 and was there for more than a month!

Unknown to me at the time, there was a Court case placed against me by One International Home Bank against my defunct Consultancy – Management & Marketing Development Consultancy – MMDC – which had collapsed and gone bankrupt in January 2001 – that is 15 years ago – and still being followed and being traumatized to date!

The TRUTH be told also –

SIMPLY NO ONE had contacted me from the Bank or from anyone else!  For Plus 12 years! 

Today I have LOST MY PERSONAL FREEDOM and Civil Status too – sadly to the Most Committed Loyal True Feeling Sincere Citizen and National. My GMC Yukon they refused to renew The Mulkiya which expired since April 2016.

I am just paying The PDCs and if I do not another issue will arise. This Bank has billions to offer Big Cmpanies but they still go to Retired Omani Pensioners with a vengeance drawing blod from stone! Al Hamdu Lillah!

Nothing has changed much in Oman despite all my writings in my columns and books – the columns that ran for more than 15 years before being targeted and killed off in 2013 – on a technicality – but frankly I think more on their designs policing to subdue people speaking The Truth! The games of The Mafias usually run and led by sadly our Indian friends dominating The Media in Oman – and tragically more by our own Omanis – The Old Guards!

The articles in this book are mainly centred on the above aspects as now being denied the public route through my Oman Daily Observer in my columns Between Us Only! and At My Workplace!

I decided to add this book 53 to my series of books – with due apologies to The Reader that the emphasis and concentration in this book was what was happening to me at the time – and to compile the subjects topics under this book 53 – That Is The way It Is!

20. We made his kingdom strong and gave him Al-Hikmah (Prophethood, etc.) and sound judgement in speech and decision.21. And has the news of the litigants reached you? When they climbed over the wall into (his) Mihrab (a praying place or a private room,).22. When they entered in upon Dawud (David), he was terrified of them, they said: “Fear not! (We are) two litigants, one of whom has wronged the other, therefore judge between us with truth, and treat us not with injustice, and guide us to the Right Way.23. Verily, this my brother (in religion) has ninety nine ewes, while I have (only) one ewe, and he says: “Hand it over to me, and he overpowered me in speech.”24. [Dawud (David)] said (immediately without listening to the opponent): “He has wronged you in demanding your ewe in addition to his ewes. And, verily, many partners oppress one another, except those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and they are few.” And Dawud (David) guessed that We have tried him and he sought Forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down prostrate and turned (to Allah) in repentance.25. So We forgave him that, and verily, for him is a near access to Us, and a good place of (final) return (Paradise).26. O Dawud (David)! Verily! We have placed you as a successor on earth, so judge you between men in truth (and justice) and follow not your desire for it will mislead you from the Path of Allah. Verily! When you fail to get your Haqq Rights and Justice on earth surely on The Day of Reckoning in front of Allah SWT God Al Mighty you will get it there where you need it more and where those responsible from Head of Courts Judges Banks Leadership wii be brought forward for Due Punishment – and could start on earh first then punishments in their graves too. About The Book!

This book 53^nd is The Sequel to my earlier 52 books to date!

After my last book, I was admitted in Royal Hospital for a Prostate operation that ended me falling into a coma state in ICU – Intensive Care Unit – EER – for almost a month! See B – The Prophet’s Dream!

The book ontains all the articles and topics that I had posted in My Websites Blogs and The Social Media since the 52^nd book.

The book can also stand on its own to describe all my 52 books to date! 6 books on Arab Management, 3 on Road Safety, 6 on My Autobiography (The Story of My Life!) – 12 on my Columns Writings ‘Between Us Only!’ and ‘At My Workplace!’ and the rest on assorted topics!

What are you Thankful for in Life!

A         Thanksgiving Day! Thanks for the Blessings!

It is a national holiday celebrated in  Canada and the  United States on the fourth Thursday of November. This time it fell on November 24 2016.

It was originally celebrated as a day of giving thanks by Native Americans for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. The Pilgrims copied it and made it as their own!

Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada and on the fourth Thursday of November  in the United States. Several other places around the world observe similar celebrations. Although Thanksgiving has historical roots in religious and cultural traditions, it has long been celebrated in a secular manner as well.

Setting aside time to give thanks for one’s blessings, along with holding feasts to celebrate a harvest, are both practices that long predate the European settlement of North America.

The event that Americans commonly call the “First Thanksgiving” was celebrated by the Pilgrims  after their first harvest in the New World in October 1621. This feast lasted three days, and—as accounted by attendee Edward Winslow  — it was attended by 90  Native Red Indians Americans and 53 Pilgrims. The New England colonists were accustomed to regularly celebrating “Thanksgivings” — days of prayers thanking God for blessings such as military victory or the end of a drought.

B         Being Thankful In Life!

If you ask me – and truthfully, honestly, frankly and sincerely, I am thankful for a lot of things in life! Although I would some things now more than ever before – like on my personal life and on my health – I am thankful to have –

• My family and relatives – my children and the grandchildren!
• The few friends I have!
• Being a True Observing Muslim to my best of my abilities and following My Religion as best as I Can!
• And in trying to be near Allah SWT God Almighty as much as I can!
• Always respecting people devoid of age, sex, religion, creed, race, ethnicity and religion!
• A roof over my head even if it is a very old house needing much repairs and renovation!
• Can now walk on my own without assistance like before!
• The little things I have – even if I wished for more – but I remind myself that there are others far behind me and who would be ready anytime to change places with me!
• Getting my Pension Salary regularly from PDO – even though I would have wanted it to be more – because every month struggling to make ends meet – like all people – especially Pensioners now!
• Living in a peaceful stable secure place – after seeing all the things that are going wrong all around us now!
• My books I have published – which will keep my name going long after I am gone!
• And so many other things and aspects!

But truthfully, honestly, frankly and sincerely!  I will not want to change myself with anyone! I am happy I came out as Majid (Arabic for Glory!) that I am now!

If I have my life all over again – I want again to be me! The same and only Majid Said Nasser Al Suleimany! Because I know deep in myself that I do care and feel for people! I am full of understanding, empathy, and kindness and caring!  I do not want to hurt or pain anyway. I am I!

I always try to help people as best as I can – and if I cannot will say so politely kindly and emphatically – but I will not lie or tell lies – or say wrong (unkind) things!

If I have made a mistake or error of judgement – I am ready to forgive and forget! Those who hurt and pain me – whether purposefully or unknowingly inadvertently – I will tell them frankly! I will not keep it bottled in – and suffering in silence! I know this part is what makes me unpopular and being resented by others!

I will not want to change myself to anyone other – even if far Richer, Famous and or Powerful! Majid will be Majid always – under Allah SWT God Almighty Grace and Blessings! Ameen Amen

I try hard to avoid conflict and fights – and after 3 or 4 point outs – and still people after me – I come in charging! Like in a bull! Would I want to change this trait and habit – and suffer in silence? The answer is emphatically NO!

This is Me – and This is what I am! Will be till end of time! Majid will remain as Majid!

 

C         My Epitaph!

Majid Epitaph (Legacy) – I Want to be Remembered!

A long time ago as a kid, I used to hear people talk about death and how they will go! I always wondered out aloud how I would go – if my turn came up next!

I always prayed that I would go sudden and people surprised he went away that fast! But I never want to cause trouble and inconveniences to others before I die – if I was to choose these things! But it is all in God Allah hands!

Anyway, I had this dream of ‘dying by starvation’ – I do not know what it meant! Was it going to be real as in the dream – or as a metaphor like liking to eat too much and getting fatter by day – and as now being diabetic case?

Or would it be like my late Father PBUH where he wanted food and water but was denied by The Doctors (they were using instead drips!) – because they needed to operate on his stomach – because there was a blockage in his small intestines – and till after the operation could be given food!

Anyway only God Allah SWT Knows these things best!

Sorry for a morbid subject!

Here lies a person who in all his life had acted and stood up for the rights of others – and to whatever extent and even harm and injury and damage to himself personally – and he went down that way!

Always wanting to do good things and help others as much as one could.

If he could not, he would be Truthful and offer instead kind words and support – and or offer advices to his best level always!

Where he could change things himself he did – otherwise he spoke out for Change. Always wanted to be fair, just, professional, principled, correct and ethical in all things he did.

He wants to be remembered that way only!

Please Pray for Him – when they tell you he is gone!

We Are Very Lucky in Oman!

   

 

We are very lucky in Oman for having our Beloved His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said!

May Allah SWT Our Lord God Almighty Give him long life and health Ameen!

Even though I am a sick and ailing person – and with a lot of other personal problems – I sincerely genuinely and honestly feel –

I look at the News!

Everywhere and all around us and in front of our eyes –

– See people are crying!

– See people are dying!

– Seeing people being victimized, injured and being maimed!

– See all the destruction disasters decadence malaise and decay!

– See mischief being done on land!

– See there is just wars and fights all around!

– See people living as displaced and destitute – both internally and externally!

– See so many other bad things!

Oman – under HM Renaissance – is a land and bastion of peace, harmony, understanding, tolerance and co-existence amongst people – Local, Residents and Visitors and Guests!

Frankly and honestly, I do believe if people had listened or followed his steps to our His Majesty there would have been NO –

– No Iraq Saddam invasion of Kuwait!

– No Gulf War of any kind as a result!!

– No Syria Destruction and Civil War as now!

– No Libya Destruction and Civil War as now!!

– No Yemen fiascos and war!

– No attacks on Yemen!

– No Fitnas of any kind!

– Most likely as a result No Daesh or IS syndromes!

– Most likely not even September 11 events!

Indeed initially, we had some initial problems – but under wise leadership of HM – they all went solved and peace and harmony reigned in – Al Hamdu Lillah – Allah Be Praised!

May Allah SWT Our Lord God Almighty Give him long life and health Ameen!

Today I was so busy compiling my files for presentation for a case being made against me. It is immaterial that the case is old and defunct and that it is about a situation facing my Consultancy that went bankrupt 15 years ago in 2001 but still being hunted and being pursued because those involved can do so!

As you might have noticed I have upset and annoyed quite a large number of people by my Truthful Honest Writings in my books and in my Columns … which were killed off anyway 2 years ago after running for 12 years! Some of these people are rich and pwerful and want to draw blood from a stone and put me in my place as unrecognised marginalised diminished and with no status and using full force of the laws against people like us to be put in our place!

You rocked the boat and you washed the dirty linen in public and refused to push the dirt under the carpet!

How long these things will go on with The Old Guards joint with The Mafias carry on? You are a better Judge than me anyway!

My grandaugter came to the house brought by her Father but I had no time for her. She was visibly upset saying Babu Grandfather I want to play with you … and I was so occupied and put her away to go watch cartoons TV in another room.

I talk about Angry Quick pass sentences Judge and here I drive away my daughter without hearing her!

If God Allah Repriminded Prophet Daud David who am I to do exactly what David Daud RA did! Or even The Judge?

I still feel awful to have been a bad not hearing Grandfather. I took Early Retirement after I upset my young daughter shouting at her because she wanted a Compas Box .. she lost one I had bought for her one day before!

I realised then I was a bad man and Father … and it was all pressures of work … because they were making me again to report formally to who was my Assistant and whom I had just promoted myself one year back.

Again to punish because I dared open my mouth and fight for The Youth in Omanisation Recruitment Training and Development. In my own way – there would have been no need for the Panic Button as is now the case!

10 years after Retirement the punishments still come through and I again appeal To Those With Consciences to stop these ugly games trying to find excuses to hurt maim and pain!

I am sorry anyway now … and now more to my Grandaughter Sibel … I have been a Bad Grandfather… but no excuses pressures again.
